I’m the author of The Perex Chronicles , a series of thrilling fantasy adventure novels for readers of 10 to 110 (and probably beyond). The first four books are now available!

About me

I was born in Manchester in 1952, and educated at Heaton Moor School, Ludworth Primary School, Manchester Grammar School, Brasenose College Oxford and University College London. For many years I worked as a librarian, first in academic libraries and later heading the library and information team at a multinational law firm. But I’ve always been a writer as well – novels, short stories, plays for radio and the stage, even a couple of musicals. These days I write full time, and I live in a village in Wiltshire with my wife Jill, and two cats.
